I made this with my 8-year-old granddaughter and we both enjoyed the process. The finished product is close to perfect, but not 100%. The cams don't stay in place properly and need to be adjusted almost constantly. The good part is that she understands exactly why and how.

Great project with the grandchildren. Built two automaton; one in California and one in Mid west. We celebrate Christmas with them early and build it together. Creating Christmas memories.
