Electric Pencil Sharpener

I was a bit concerned when I saw the age was for 14+. However, my 9 year old grandson loved making this sharpener with supervision. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. A great gift for any curious child.

This is hands down the coolest project ever!! 

My grandson loved putting this together and then sharing it with his class at school. He is ten. 

Did not give any challenge to put together 

This is such an awesome and useful kit. But to be honest, the first kit didn’t turn on despite double and triple checking the connections. Kiwi was very quick to provide replacement motor/battery pack/wires (we reused the bulk of the original parts). It worked great the second time around. 

This was a little complicated, very cool and very practical. Perfect for my pre-teen!

The pencil sharpener was great.  I purchased  it for my 3 grandsons, ages 5 twins aged 8, whom are being home schooled by their Mother.  The 3 of them took turns assembling it.  There was something that they could all do together.  They were so proud at their accomplishment.  They are using it in their home school classroom.

Very engaging and well designed model. Worked in first attempt.

Awesome kit. It was easy for my mechanically inclined 11 year old. He absolutely loves that he could make something practical.

The Electric Pencil Sharpener was a great starter project for me and my son. The directions were very clear and it was a great hands on engineering project.
